Today was about making Hashmedo easier to adopt and safer to operate.
Easier to start
We strengthened the free onboarding path so creating an account and creating an organization work as one coherent journey. We also completed the activation path from Starter to Starter Plus and kept unlimited manual inventory updates available on the free plan.
That matters because the first value of Hashmedo comes from recording what an organization actually has. The product should encourage that habit, not place an arbitrary barrier in front of it.
Safer hosted operations
We introduced better capacity visibility for hosted cells, including database growth, storage pressure, and maintenance state. Operators can now see when a cell needs attention before it affects existing customers.
We also moved the two critical global databases—platform control and identity—onto separate expandable storage. Each service now has its own failure boundary, guarded startup checks, recovery evidence, and a retained rollback copy.
A smoother return
When a person belongs to exactly one organization, Hashmedo now takes them directly to their workspace. The organization chooser remains available when a real choice exists.
Why this is useful
None of these changes is a dramatic standalone feature. Together, they reduce friction and operational uncertainty: people can start faster, upgrades have a clear path, capacity is visible, and critical data has safer storage boundaries.
That is the kind of progress we want this diary to show—small, concrete steps that make AI Operations more dependable over time.
